Spin Doctor Tile Leveling System Reviews

“This floor is 9”x48” wood blank, no lippage, thanks to your Spin Doctor.”

“Product review- got to try out the “Spin Doctor” lippage reduction system last week. Very simple to use, tighten. Washers do not transfer twisting to tile, worked great.”

“Holds tile securely. Breaks off easily when kicked and thinset mortar has cured. Look at the video.  Use a tool to clean out the thinset next to the tile.”

“Best, fastest, simplest tile leveling system ever. That’s all there is to it.”

“So I put the Spin Doctor kit to work on this beast. I must say I was very impressed with never using a lippage tuning system in my 21 year career! They torque down nicely and give about 3 final clicks before they lock in. They level out nicely and knock out easily the next day. I became an expert at backspinning the spent bases out of the spinner with one quick spin. LOL It was definitely a big help with the 18x18s on the ceiling.”

“I have laid thousands of square feet of tile and never saw a need for a product like this… until my most recent job. I had large format tile 8″x48″, which had a big bow in the middle of the tile due to manufacturing process. These things work great… probably the flattest floor I have ever laid. Install time takes a bit longer than spacers but worth it for large tile installs.”

“These are great! I tried them after becoming very frustrated on my last bathroom tile job. I had installed electric floor heating, and covering the cables with a scratch coat of mortar makes the floor just slightly out of level. In addition you don’t add the cables around the back of the toilet, so it is hard to get everything perfectly flat. On top of that the tiles my wife picked have a square edge so no forgiveness for lippage, and they are fairly big at 10″x12″. I bought the 1/8″ black mating parts and the joints look great, and they held when I tightened but were also not too hard to break out. The floor came out perfectly flat with no raised corners, and it was so easy with no worries of fiddling with the tiles. I used a 1/4×1/4 trowel, but I think it would have worked slightly better with 1/4×3/8. I don’t have any more tile jobs planned so maybe I will sell these red parts. They make a mylar protective spacer but I had no issues on my hard-faced porcelain tiles. Wish I would have used these on the wall tiles too.”

“The only leveling product I have ever tried, but it was very easy to use. I ran out of red spinners on a 100sqft floor and had 100 more black levelers, go figure. Floor looked great but I was working on Ditra over flat concrete. Didn’t buy the protective rings and no marks were left on porcelain.”

“Had an ambitious bathroom tile of walls and floor. The Spin Doctor worked perfectly to help get even, totally leveled planks across all 4 walls and managing lippage. Extremely pleased with the product.”

“Absolutely love the Spin Doctors. I honestly cannot believe these sat in my van for so long before we finally used them. 12×24 Carrara marble. Cannot wait to order more of these bad boys. I am sold for sure! They did the job their intended for.”

“I was fortunate enough to Try the spin Dr leveling system. Tried it side by side with its little brother also from Russo. I prefer the spin Dr. Easy to break and they break cleanly. The top is made of very durable plastic and the ‘sharp’ end of the spacer part makes it very easy to slip under the tile. I am very appreciative to the guys that made this trial happen. The boss already ordered 1000’s of spacers and tops. Who’s next?”

“I looked at a lot of other anti-lippage systems and decided on this one because it didn’t require special tools and the discs and the caps are reusable. I used them on a bathroom remodel with 12″ x 24″ tile and was extremely pleased with the ease in which these could be installed. They functioned perfectly eliminating the need to pull and add mud to uneven tiles which can be very time consuming and messy. I used the 1/8″ bases and used my regular spacers for the tile. Once the thinset was dry I used a rubber hammer to remove. It was that simple. They broke off flush with the base. None of them extended into the grout area and there was not an issue with popping the tile loose.”

“Been tiling since 87 and I have used almost all of the leveling systems and this one by far is my used everyday favorite.”

“Worked good, the tile was very heavy, I needed something like these to level it out”
